Prior to "Escapade" we attended Boot Camp on Friday, August 26, 2011. The Boot Camp was for three days and we graduated on Sunday August 28,2011. Boot Camp is a must do. Boot Camp is about:
1. Learning about what to look for when purchasing a RV, Motor Coach or Tow Vehicle.
2. Fire Safety in a RV.
3. Load and weight management in a RV.
4. General RV maintenance.
5. How to drive and backup a RV.
We should have signed up for boot camp before we even got our first RV. You learn so much.
We will "Reboot" next year.
The next day after Boot Camp was the main event "Escapade" that includes meeting many new friends, attending workshops, attending the market place, and attending The Row. The Row is a room where all of the different Escapee chapters are.

We now have some new wonderful friends Sandy and Ray.
While at the Escapade Rally through one of their Chapters I had a chance to join the Elks. A total of 51 Escapees joined the Elks in Gillette, Wy. This increased the Elks membership in Gillette by 50%. I am now a member of Lodge No. 2825 in Gillette, WY.
We truly enjoyed the Escapees Rally. The Escapees group are wonderful, we received many HUGS. We are planning to attend the next Escapees Rally next year on Sep 16-21,2012 in Sedalia, MO.
So good to see you folks enjoying yourself. You deserve it. Safe travels and let us know when you will be in the area!
